Cycles of growth reminds me that the components of design need to remain flexible so that ideas and best practice will flow together to create a learning experience that brings about the desired change. I love to create learning experiences that exceed the expected outcomes. Adult learning theory is at the center of each learning solution, as the content must be relevant and learner centric. I am passionate about making connections in content development by incorporating new ideas into my process each step of the way.
By following the ADDIE and SAM models for Instructional Design, I craft complete training solutions. The methods of instruction may vary, but are always aligned to match the best solution for attaining the business goals. Digging into what the true problem is for an organization through careful needs analysis, crafting measurable learning objectives, and developing unique adult learning activities are things I readily bring to your team. My curious, goal driven nature allows me to see all the parts of this process from start to finish, including the many adjustments to be made. Each step of the cycle requires clear communication with all stakeholders, which is a strength that I value and is crucial for project success.
I enjoy working with others, and value all feedback as it allows me to develop training materials that will help foster a culture of change.
Thank you for joining me on this journey of "crafting through cycles"!

The badges below reflect what I accomplished with Applied Instructional Design Academy as part of a complete 9-month Instructional Design certification program. In order to earn these certifications, learners complete over 400 lessons, actively engage with certified coaches, and complete multiple learning activities. All certifications require practice, extensive feedback with revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. By earning these credentials, it signifies that I have met the quality assurance criteria, and am an expert in these areas.
